We purchased a Honda Pilot at L&S this week. Vehicle was in excellent condition, clean, and exactly as advertised. We had never been to this business, but were pleasantly surprised by all aspects of the process. All of the cars were in excellent condition. They have a very impressive selection. The facility is extremely clean everywhere you look, and the salespeople are knowledgeable and organized. Mark was excellent. Paperwork was in order on arrival, communication was great. Exceeded our expectations. This will be my starting point I for my next used vehicle purchase.

5 Stars! Do I need to say more? From the moment I walked in I knew it was going to be the best auto buying experience ever. No bullshit, right to the point with everything they do. As far as service.... They have the best mechanics around. Never an issue and god damn do they bend over backwards to resolve issues! Truly a relief when you can trust the whole crew! This is my first review and I bought my jeep from them 3 years ago! I wont go anywhere else. They never compromise customer satisfaction for their own gain or convenience!

Bought my Chrysler Aspen from L&S 2 years ago this week. I absolutely love this vehicle and have been quite happy with it. Twice i've had to use the Endurance warranty and bring it into L&S for repairs. Its a used vehicle, you can't expect perfection. Both times they were quick and efficient and had my vehicle repaired and back to me the same day! Exceptional service!
Used car purchase experience
I just purchased a new to me 2006 Jeep GCL 5.7 a week ago. I test drove the car and found it to be solid and good running, no leaks, no rust and a clean car fax. The guys at L & S are honest and stand behind what they sell. Ask them how long they have been in business. If you have any issues they will take care of you just as they promise. They have a top notch mechanic and crew who works out of an impressive attached service area. This is a high class business that goes the extra mile for you to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase. I am totally satisfied with this purchase and would buy from L & S again.

I’ve had my car for 7 months and to this day I have had no problems. This business vehicle prices are reasonable and John is so cool and easy to work with. He is honest, not nagging or the hassling type when it comes to your decision in vehicles. When I’m ready for another good used vehicle, L&S will be my go to spot.
We were rolling through Hartford last Tuesday afternoon in our 2011 Mercedes Sprinter van when the battery light came on. Oh man! It was 3:00 in the afternoon so I asked my wife to look for garages in the area and she found L&S Automotive. We pulled in and Davis fit us in and we were out the door by 5:00. We just arrived home after a 2,500 mile trip and the alternator that L&S put it in worked great and we had no further mechanical issues. If we lived in the area, we would definitely use L&S for our automotive repair needs. Thank you to Davis and crew for treating us so kindly and doing great work in a short amount of time!
A pleasant experience purchasing a used vehicle...Who would've thought.
After hitting a Deer and totaling my 2012 Focus Hatchback, I needed to find a less expensive reliable used car so I may get back to work ASAP. It's taken me two weeks of continuous research to help make the best decision. It was important to me that I found a car that I enjoyed driving daily. It needed to be sporty, well maintained, have a decent sunroof, within my budget and serviced properly with a verifiable Carfax and dealership service records before hitting the lot. This is how I stumbled upon the crew of L&S. Never knowing what to expect from a used car dealer, I phoned L&S and spoke with John. Before dialing I made sure to check out every review I could find about the dealership. These guys looked stellar across verified social networking sites (yet we all know how misleading this could be). The past week alone I walked from two vehicles after being approved but not liking their style. After speaking with John I felt very comfortable and told him I needed to take a 2 hr drive to get there. By conveying this I wanted him to know I was serious and expected the car to be there after my trek. I felt John understood because he asked me to call again when I was on my way so he'd know when to expect me. I phoned him when leaving and once again letting him know I was 15 min away. Success! Both John and the vehicle were waiting for me when I pulled in. From arrival to departure John was sincere, extremely personable and straightforward with the business. He was neither frustrated or pushy never rushing me while taking his time to properly answer my questions. He carefully explained the car was "As Is" but offered a reliable warranty through the company known as "Warranty Solutions". I'd not heard of them but mentioned I was well aware most of these companies are horrific, screwing the car owner when they needed them quoting their BS contract language to stand behind. I decided right there on my cell phone to look up "Warranty Solutions" reputation and found they had very mixed reviews. John was surprised asking to see the feedback because his experiences were all positive. He carefully explained why L&S likes this company best, detailing several situations L&S was compensated timely for work under warranty. He went on to say they even supplied a loner car for the duration of the repair (in one case a full month) and in all his years they never screwed a L&S customer. I was aware in my research that L&S has a 25yr reputation, (no easy feat in the shady world of car sales) and John was proud to reiterate this statistic saying "it's within our best interest to make sure we always do the right thing by our customers". I would ave usually walked away from a "As Is" purchases (wanting at least a 30day Warranty) yet found myself signing away comforted with John and my research that L&S Service was also respected with hundreds of positive reviews. As a person who's managed businesses ethically for 30 yrs I was also impressed that of the several negative reviews I read, L&S had timely responses, apologized where negligent and seemed to make good with the issue. I've driven my car 600 highway/NYC miles...it's a solid vehicle that's both tight and reliable. I've thoroughly checked every electrical/mechanical aspect you can in a week and everything works well. If something happens to the engine or transmission (which is sometimes very tough to know right away), I'll be sure to update this review. Thanks you Team L&S.
